Operation

Warning
S Make sure that:
nobody can place his/her hand in the
path of the moveable parts (e. g. by
means of a protective screen)
there are no objects in the positioning
range.
It should not be possible to touch the
DMES−... until the mass has come to a
complete stand.
Fitting in a vertical or diagonal position
Warning
In the event of a spindle nut fracture (e. g. due
to wear) inside the DMES−..., the work mass
will slide down. Uncontrolled moving masses
can cause injury to people or damage to prop
erty (danger of fingers being squashed).
S Check whether additional external safety
measures against spindle nut fracture are
necessary (e. g. toothed latches or moving
bolts).
In this way you can prevent the work mass
from sliding down.
If the motor turns in the wrong direction
Please note
When the clamping element is loosened
(see Fig. 1) the motor can be turned on its
longitudinal axis. The reference position will
then be lost.
S Start reference travel in accordance with
the chapter Commissioning" in order to
determine the new reference position.
