AVENTICS | VS HF | R412015493–BDL–001–AE | English
Only use original parts from AVENTICS. The tie rod extensions are adjusted to the
expansion coefficient of the subbases so that the valve system remains leaktight under
all operating conditions.
6. Join base plate(s) (GP/FGP) (4, 5), make sure that the seal(s) (6) has/have been correctly
inserted.
Assembly
7. Slide the removed base plates (GP/FGP) back onto the tie rod extensions.
8. Replace the P end plate (7) and tighten both of the hexagonal socket-head screws (8).
Tightening torque: 2.0 to 2.5 Nm.
9. Equip the base plate(s) (GP/FGP) (4, 5) with blanking plates (9), valves (10) or supply plates
(11) and screw them down with two self-tapping cross recessed screws each (12)
(EN ISO 4757 - Z0). Tightening torque: 0.2 to 0.25 Nm, tightening speed: max. 500 rpm.
10. Reassemble the VS on the DIN rail/mounting surface.
11. Bring the manual override(s) to position 0.
12. Reestablish the pneumatic connections (see „Connecting the pneumatics").
13. Expand the connector pin wiring for the additional valve positions.
14. Check all screws and connections once more and start the system again.

1. Loosen the mounting screw ("Pozidriv" cross recessed screw EN ISO 4757 – Z1) for the
pneumatic connection piece.
2. Loosen and remove the pneumatic connection piece.
3. Turn the pneumatic connection piece by 180
Pay attention that the seal(s) is/are positioned correctly.
4. Tighten the mounting screw with a screwdriver.
Tightening torque: 1.1 to 1.3 Nm
The seal and connection pieces must be ordered separately.
Separating pressure zones
Various pressure zones can be implemented by inserting separators between two base plates
(GP/FGP) or in one base plate (GP/FGP, only HF04 and HF04-XF).
If the D-Sub connection assignment has already been established:
O
Make sure that the order of the base plates (GP/FGP) stays the same to maintain the
connection assignment.

(GP/FGP)
O
Insert the separators between two neighboring base plates (GP/FGP).
26
Separating pressure zones within a base plate (GP/FGP)
(only HF04 and HF04-XF)
O
Use the mounting aid (1) to slide the separators (2) directly into the base plate (GP/FGP).

10 Care and Maintenance

Applied electric voltage and high pressure!
Danger of injury from electrical shocks and sudden pressure drops.
O
Make sure the system is not under pressure or voltage before carrying out any service
and maintenance work.
Component care
Solvents and aggressive cleaning agents
Surfaces and seals could be damaged by aggressive solvents and cleaning agents.
O
Never use solvents or strong detergents.
O
Regularly clean the device with a damp cloth. Use only water or a mild detergent.
Component maintenance
The valve systems are maintenance-free.
O
However, observe any stipulated maintenance intervals and requirements for the entire
system.
o
and place on the function base plate.
