6. USE OF THE SLICER

6.1 LOADING PRODUCTS ONTO THE
PLATE AND CUTTING
1. Check that the slice thickness adjustment
knob is in the safety position;
2. pull the carriage back all the way (toward
the operator) in the loading position;
3. lift the product holder into the standby posi-
tion;
4. rest the product to be sliced on the plate
near the operator side wall. Block it with the
product holder applying slight pressure;
5. adjust the slice thickness. Activate the blade
by pressing the start button. Grip the handle
fixed to the product holder and begin the
alternative cutting motion;
6. at the end of cutting operations return the
slice thickness adjuster knob to the safety
position and pull the carriage back. Stop
the blade motion by pressing the off button.

6.2.1.

General information

The machines must be carefully cleaned at least
once a day and more often if necessary. After a
fairly long period of inactivity the machine must
also be cleaned before use.
6.2.2.
Dismantling the machine
for cleaning
1. Disconnect the plug from the electrical mains
socket;
2. place the thickness gauge plate adjuster
knob in the safety position;
3. remove the various components as described
in the following paragraphs.
Dismantling of the meat table.
1. With the thickness gauge plate adjuster
in the safety position, pull back the plate
support all the way until the travel limit
toward the operator;
2. use the plate release lever, keeping the
support at the travel limit in order to free
the meat table from the plate support;
WARNING: To correctly carry out the operation
it may be necessary to act simultaneously also
on the thick-
ness adjuster
knob, rotating
it slightly with
respect to the
safety
posi-
tion.
3. extract the product holder unit sliding the
plate from the support.
