Checking the front brake
fluid level

With the brake reservoir in a horizontal
position, the brake fluid should be able
to be seen in the observation window.
The fluid should be between the two
arrows as shown in the diagram below.
It should be nearest to the upper arrow.

If you need to change them – contact your

- Loosen the two screws 1.
- Remove the cap 2 and its diaphragm 3.
- Fill the reservoir with
DOT 4
brake fluid
- Replace the diaphragm 3, the cap 2 and
the two screws 1.

Warning :
- Hydraulic fluid is highly corrosive, it can
be harmful to the skin.
- Please read the recommendations on the
container carefully.

Warning :
Wear on brake pads should be checked
regularly for the sake of your safety.
Under no circumstances should it be
less than one millimetre thick.

Adjusting the brake pedal position

- The static position of the brake pedal 1 can be
adjusted as follows: loosen the locknut B, then
tighten or loosen the screw A in order to achieve
the required position. Re-tighten the locknut B.
- You should then adjust the guard C, with a free
movement of 3mm minimum. To do this, loosen
the locknut C, turn the stem D until you achive
the desired result, then tighten the locknut C.
The upper extremity of the brake pedal
should be located at approximately 15 mm below
the upper part of the footrest.
