The attenuation values for each model are found in Fig. E.
The rows in the figure describes:
E:4 Frequency, the frequency value at which the attenuation testing has been done.
E:5 Mean attenuation (dB) = Average attenuating characteristics at given frequency
E:6 St. dev. (dB) = Standard deviation at given frequency
E:7 APV (dB) = Assumed Protection Value. Average attenuating characteristics minus standard deviation at given frequency.
Under Fig E:8 the H, M and L values, as well as the SNR are found.
H = Average attenuation characteristics in the higher frquency spectrum
M = Average attenuation characteristics in the mid range frequency spectrum
L = Average attenuation characteristics in the higher frequency spectrum
SNR = Single Number Rating
