Learn-A-Lick/Jam-A-Long

The Jam-A-Long feature lets you connect a tape or CD player to the GS30
and mix the music with your guitar signal. The GS30 also includes a
powerful teaching tool called "Learn-A-Lick". This feature lets you
record solos that are too fast to hear much less learn, and then slow
them down to a speed where you can figure out the notes being played.
To use this feature you will need a tape or CD player, a cable with an
1/8" stereo jack on one end and a connector appropriate for your tape
or CD player's headphone output on the other end, and the tape or CD
with the "too-fast-solo" on it.
Just follow these steps and you'll virtually have a personal guitar
instructor teaching you all of those speed burning licks.
1. Connect the 1/8" stereo jack to the Learn-A-Lick jack on the back
panel of the GS30.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to your tape or CD player's
headphone output.
3. Cue up the recording to the solo that you want to learn.
4. Press and hold the Bank Up switch until the display shows LL for a
moment and will then change to St (an abbreviation for "stop").
5. Press the number
1 footswitch as you
start your tape or CD
player. The display
will show rC
indicating that it is
recording. It will
record 16 seconds of
incoming material.

Learn-A-Lick/Jam-A-Long
La función Jam-A-Long le permite conectar una pletina o reproductor de
CD al GS30 y mezclar la música con su señal de guitarra. El GS30 también
incluye una potente herramienta de enseñanza llamada"Learn-A-Lick".
Esta otra función le permite grabar solos que sean muy rápidos de oir y
mucho más de aprender, y después disminuir la velocidad hasta una a la
que pueda aprender y ensayar las notas tocadas. Para usar esta función
deberá tener una pletina o un reproductor de CD, un cable con un
conector stereo de 1/8" en un extremo y el conector adecuado para la
salida de auriculares de la pletina o unidad de CD en el otro, y la cinta o
el CD que contengan el "solo-demasiado-difícil" que quiera aprender.
Solo tiene que realizar los pasos siguientes y virtualmente tendrá un
instructor de guitarra personal que le enseñará todo lo necesario para
tocar este tipo de ejecuciones rápidas y complicadas.
1. Conecte la clavija stereo de 3,5mm a la entrada Learn-A-Lick del
panel trasero del GS30.
2. Conecte el otro extremo del cable a la salida de auriculares de su
pletina o reproductor de CD.
3. Avance la grabación hasta el momento en que aparezca el solo que
quiera aprender.
4. Mantenga pulsado el interruptor de banco arriba hasta que en la
pantalla aparezca LL durante un momento y luego cambie a St
(abreviatura de "stop").
