3.1 AS−Interface addresses
Before connecting to the AS−Interface bus: assign an un
used address to each slave.
Address assignment
The diagram below shows the assignment of the data bits
to the inputs and outputs.

The address mapping depends on the configuration of the
master.
3.2 Assigning the AS−Interface address
Recommendation: Use the addresser type ASI−PRG−ADR
with adapter cable type KASI−ADR from Festo.
The addresser scans the existing slaves in the AS−Interface
network.
Assign the desired address to the slave
