AUTOMATED LEARNING PROCESS/ACTIVATING CODE
2. Restore electrical power. Within 30 seconds of
restoring electrical power, press the "
on the front of the remote control transmitter (Q)
for 5 seconds or until light on the fan blinks twice.
(Fig. 2) Use the remote control to test the light
and fan functions (see operation instructions on
page 18) to confirm the learning process is
complete.
IMPORTANT: To prevent damage to remote
control transmitter (Q), remove the 12-volt battery
(R) if not used for long periods. Store the remote
control transmitter (Q) away from excess heat or
humidity.
CHANGING REVERSE SWITCH SETTING
1. Locate reverse switch on top half of motor
housing (E). If reverse switch is not completely
visible, lift wire cage (V) just enough to be able to
rotate it so reverse switch is not blocked by one
of the vertical ribs on the wire cage (V). Once
reverse switch is completely visible, use a small
flathead screwdriver (not included) to move the
reverse switch either to the LEFT position for a
downward airflow to create a wind chill effect or
to the RIGHT position to create an upward airflow
that will help move hot air off the ceiling. (Fig. 1)
