4.8- Adjusting the cutting height
The harvester has an articulated wheel
hydraulically operated that makes it possible
to regulate the cutting height.
Operate the hydraulic cylinder (D) to lift or
lower the machine, proceeding according to
the instructions below.
To adjust the cutting height:
Press and hold the 'ADJUST THE CUTTING

HEIGHT' button on the Joystick (see the
figure on the side).
Move the tractor hydraulic control lever.

NOTE!
The side to which the lever is moved
(forward or backward) determines
whether the machine will raise or
lower. Take a test and observe.
IMPORTANT!
The function of the wheels is to
assist the tractor's hydraulic system to
support the weight of the machine. The
Harvester must work with the wheels
resting on the ground.
In the corn crop, in general, a cutting
height of 25 to 30 centimeters is used
(measured between the saw blades
and the soil). This is not a rule, just
a suggestion, and it is up to each
producer to define the ideal height.
