Tip: Using the quilting guide, you can stitch
parallel line from the edge of Jeans.
CAUTION
●
Before inserting the quilting guide,
use the main power switch to turn
off the sewing machine. Not doing
so could cause an injury.
Insert the quilting guide under the spring plate
on the shank. Adjust the quilting guide to the
correct position by moving it sideways.
Sew with the edge of Jeans against the quilting
guide.

■ Making a jeans bag

Place jeans on a flat surface, mark a cutting line
just above the crotch.
Cut along the cutting line. Turn the upper jeans
through to the wrong side.

Place the raw edges together and sew 2cm up
from the raw edge. Press the seam flat and open.

Open the bag and place the bottom seam line
on to the side seam to form a triangle at each
end. Measure along each fold from the point
about 5cm or as desired.
Sew from point to point. Secure each end.

Cut out the handle from the jeans leg. Size of
handle as desired (e.g. 70cm long by 12cm wide).
Turn under 1cm along both long sides on to
wrong of fabric. Press.

Fold handle in 1/2 lengthwise.
Folded edges together, press fold. Stitch along
both long sides, 0.5cm in from the edges.
