Preparing the handset

Inserting rechargeable batteries

Open the cover on the rear of the
handset.
Caution!
Incorrectly inserted batteries can cause
damage to the handsets.
Insert the rechargeable batteries in the
handset with the correct polarity.
Replace the cover on the handset (1.).
Close the cover (2.).
Place the handset in a charge cradle.
Leave the handset in the charge cradle
for about 14 hours to charge the
batteries fully.
The charge status of the batteries is
indicated in the display.
Once the batteries in the handset are
charged it is possible to proceed with
basic settings for this handset.

Affixing belt clips

Affix one bracket of the belt clip to the
attachment on the handset, as
illustrated (1.).
Press the second bracket onto the
second attachment on the handset (2.).
