Enabling and disabling the
keypad lock
To enable the keypad lock press the #
key and hold it down for three seconds.
You will hear a beep. The "Keypad lock"
symbol will appear in the display. The
handset buttons are now disabled. You
can take incoming calls but cannot make
outgoing calls.
To disable the keypad lock press the #
key and hold it down for three seconds.
You will hear a beep. The "Keypad lock"
symbol is no longer displayed.

Calling handsets (paging)

This function can be used to call all
handsets. It might also come in useful for
locating a handset which has been
mislaid.
Press the "Paging" button on the base
station.
To end the call press the "Hang up"
button on the handset or
press the "Paging" button again.

Using the call-back function

This function can be used for automatic
connection to an extension as soon as it is
no longer engaged.
You need to have requested this
function from your network provider.
Dial the required telephone number.
If you hear the engaged tone wait until
the duration of the call appears on the
display.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Engaged no. call-back" sub-
menu.
You will hear a message announcing
confirmation.
Press the HANG UP button.
You will be put through as soon as the
extension is no longer engaged.
The function only lasts for about 45
minutes. After this length of time has
elapsed you will have to redial the
telephone number.
In order to end this function before the
time is up press the key sequence
"#37#".
Press the PICK UP button.
You will hear a message announcing
confirmation.
