Symptom
Handset does not
respond when keys
are pressed.
No ring tone on
handset.
"No connection
possible" appears in
the display on
making an internal
call.
Short beeps audible
during an internal
call.
"Full" appears in the
display when you
try to save a
telephone number.

Cause
The keypad lock is
enabled.
The handset is switched to
mute.
The handset being called
is not registered or is out of
base station range.
An external caller is trying
to get through.
The call number memory is
full.
Remedy
Press the # key and hold it down for
three seconds.
Press the ∗ key and hold it down for
three seconds.
Make sure that the handset being
called is registered on the base
station and within range.
End the internal call.
Answer the external call.
Delete an entry no longer required or
save the telephone number in
another memory, e.g. as a VIP
number.
