Using the Call Number Memory

Using the Call Number

Memory

The call number memory is your personal
"telephone directory". You can save up to
50 telephone numbers and names in the
memory for each handset.
A telephone number can consist of
no more than twenty digits, including
special characters and interdigit
times.
A name can consist of no more than
twelve characters including spaces.
The use of keys for characters is
covered in the section headed
Writing SMS messages from page
36 onwards.

Adding or changing entries
Press the NAVIGATION button.
The first entry in the call number memory
appears in the display.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "New" menu.
Press the MENU key.
Enter the relevant telephone number
using the numeric keys.
You can also enter the special
characters * and # as well as
interdigit times:
To enter an interdigit time press
the "0" button and hold it down for
about three seconds.
A "P" appears in the display instead
of a number.
Press the MENU key.
Enter the required name using the
numeric keys, as instructed in the
section headed Writing SMS messages
from page 36 onwards.
Press the MENU key.
"Saved" appears on the display.
To enter additional telephone numbers
press the MENU key.
Select the "New" menu.
Enter the telephone number and the
name as described above.
