In the interests of conserving our
environment, electrical equipment should
not be thrown away with the household
rubbish.
Use the collection points designated for
the disposal of electrical equipment to
hand in any equipment no longer required.
You will be helping to prevent any
potential impact on the environment and
human health caused by incorrect
disposal.
You will be contributing to the recovery,
recycling and other forms of reusing waste
electric and electronic equipment.
Your local authority or town council will be
able to advise you on the whereabouts of
recycling points for equipment.
Disconnect the telephone as instructed
in the chapter entitled Disconnecting the
Telephone on page 50.
Packaging
Your DECT telephone has been
packaged to protect it against
damage in transit. The
packaging constituents are raw
materials and can be reused or
recycled.
Batteries and rechargeable
batteries
Batteries and rechargeable
batteries should not be thrown
away with the household
rubbish. Batteries and
rechargeable batteries should
be deposited at a collection
point for used batteries.
