Switching on the EPS

Warning - Risk of injury due to escap-
ing test oil or due to parts being thrown
around!
If the hydraulic connection of the test
equipment and the Common Rail pump is
not made correctly, test oil can escape at
high pressure, or parts of the test equip-
ment can burst when starting the test. This
can lead to injury or to material damage.
Before switching on, check that all the
hose lines on the test equipment and on
the Common Rail pump are connected
correctly.
Do not open the anti-splash housing,
until the EPS drive has stopped.
Replace any leaking and defective hose
lines.
Procedure:
1. Switch on the EPS at the main switch.
2. Start the EPS945 system software.
