Editing the sample test sequence

Procedure:
1. Enter the order number, e.g.
Delphi pump in the TTNR field.
2. Enter the pump type e.g.
designation field.
3. Check and adjust the general data for the test
(supply voltage, direction of rotation, compensation
and control position) using the data sheet and the
manufacturer's specifications.
4. Call up the entry screen for editing test steps by
pressing <F�>.
5. Check the existing setpoints for the individual
test steps and add the missing setpoints in the
corresponding fields.
6. Press <F�> or <F�> to call up the next test step.
7. When you have finished entering the setpoints, press
<F�> to exit the entry screen.
8. Press <F2> to call up the selection menu.
9. Select the Save component option.

The test sequence is stored in the database to be used
for subsequent testing.

Check hoses

Always handle hoses (high-pressure and low-pressure hos-
es) with care and check for damage prior to use. Hoses
are to be replaced if checking reveals the following:
R
Cracks, brittle areas, abrasion or blistering at the
hose jacket
R
Kinked hose
R
Stiff union nuts or quick-release couplings
R
Deformed or damaged hose connection end (sealing
cone, plug-in nipple, etc.)
R
Leakage at fitting
R
Corrosion at fitting if strength is reduced as a result
R
Service life exceeded (refer to Section 7.3)

Damaged hoses are not to be repaired.

Replace high-pressure hose

Replace high-pressure hoses (operating pressure great-
er than 60 bar) after 3 years (refer to date of manufac-
ture on high-pressure hose) even if there are no appar-
ent defects of relevance to safety.
