4.4 Note for dust class H devices
Replacing the pleated fi lter cartridge
CAUTION
The Filter must be replaced by competent specialists in suitable areas (e.g. room with fi ltered forced
venti lati on, decontaminati on stati on)
CAUTION
Service work must not put the service personnel and others at risk due to dust. Suitable measures
must be taken to avoid the spread of dust: cleaning the machine prior to disassembly, cleaning the
service area
CAUTION
When replacing the fi lter/carrying out repairs, the user must wear personal protecti ve equipment
(protecti ve suit, safety goggles, respirator, gloves, etc.)
Replacing fi lters is an important process! The fi lter must be replaced with a new fi lter with the same properti es
and same fi lter area and category. Failure to observe these rules can impair the proper functi on of the vacuum.
– Have a new, undamaged fi lter ready
– Have the PE emptying bag for disposal ready
– Seal the connecti ng nozzle of the vacuum cleaner with a plug
– Disconnecti ng the earth cable from the motor head and fi lter chamber
– Loosen the tenterhooks and remove the motor head
– Set the motor head on a fi rm surface, then loosen and remove the cartridge fi lter (item 1) with a suitable
tool (hexagonal SW19, item 2).
– Remove the cartridge fi lter and place in the disposal bag, then slowly and carefully close and seal with the
included cable ti e. The fi lter can now be disposed of in compliance with the law.
– Screw on the new fi lter. Note the torque!
– Reatt ach the motor head and secure with the cover lock ring. Ensure the fi lter ring and cover lock ring are
properly seated.
– Reconnecti ng the earth cable between the motor head and fi lter chamber
ATTENTION
Do not reuse the cartridge fi lter aft er removal!
ATTENTION
Disposal must comply with applicable disposal and/or
hazardous material disposal laws.
ATTENTION
When moving the vacuum cleaner to a diff erent locati on, seal all openings from which substances or dusts
may escape
The outside of the machine must be vacuumed off and wiped clean.
All machine parts (hoses, accessories, etc.) must also be considered contaminated and handled accordingly
