Operation
Sliding argon electrode
Argon electrodes with a slide mechanism enable changing between
the cutting and coagulation functions during an operation. The
instrument can be used for argon-based cutting with a knife or a
needle electrode by sliding the shaft tube backward. Sliding the shaft
tube forward enables argon-based coagulation.
WARNING
Risk of injury from distally protruding needle
When changing from coagulation to the cutting electrode, slide
the shaft tube carefully.
Bendable argon electrode
Bendable argon electrodes can be oriented to the specific operation
site.
NOTE
Risk of damage to the device from excessive bending
Do not exceed the maximum overall bending radius of 90°
with bendable argon electrodes (REF 932-060, 932-061, 932-
062).
WARNING
Risk of injury from excessive intra-abdominal pressure
Take intra-abdominal pressure into account for laparoscopic use.
