Refrigerator and
cold fresh" compartments
defrost fully automatically
While the refrigerating unit is running,
condensation or hoarfrost forms on
the rear panel of the refrigerator
compartment. This is quite normal.
It is not necessary to wipe off the
condensation or hoar frost. The rear panel
defrosts automatically. The condensation
runs into the drainage channel Fig. r and
then to the refrigerating unit where it
evaporates.
Note: Clean the condensation channel
and drain hole Fig. r to prevent the
condensation flow from becoming
obstructed.
Cleaning the appliance
1. Warning: Pull out the mains plug or
disconnect the fuse!
2. Wipe the door seal with clean water
only and then dry thoroughly.
3. Clean the appliance with lukewarm
water and a little washing up liquid.
Water must NOT drip onto the light
Fig. 1/13.
4. After cleaning, reconnect the appliance
and switch ON.

Cleaning the cold fresh
compartment
Removing the drawers
Pull out the drawers all the way, lift up and
remove Fig. w.
When inserting the drawers, place them
on the telescopic rails and slide in
(drawers lock onto the telescopic rails).
Removing the humidity filter
Even the humidity filter Fig. 1/17 situated
above the high humidity drawer can be
removed for cleaning. First remove the
high humidity drawer, then pull out the
humidity filter.
Lift off the filter cover Fig. e, remove the
filter, clean in tepid water, allow to dry and
re assemble.
Do NOT use abrasive or acidic detergents
or solvents.
To ensure that the condensation flow is
not obstructed, clean the condensation
channel and drain hole Fig. r regularly.
Clean the condensation channel with
cotton buds, etc.
Water used for cleaning must NOT run
through the drain hole into the
evaporation pan.
Warning:
NEVER clean shelves or containers in the
dishwasher, as they may warp.
