Clean the urinal ceramic
Clean the urinal ceramic with a mild, liquid
cleaning agent.
Aggressive and scouring cleaning
agents can damage the surface of
the urinal ceramic. Never use
aggressive cleaning agents that
contain chlorine or are acidic,
abrasive or corrosive.
Geberit recommends the Geberit
AquaClean cleaning set (art. no.
242.547.00.1).
Activate cleaning mode
In cleaning mode, the flush actuation is
suppressed for 10 minutes. During this time,
you can clean the urinal or replace the trap.
You can only activate cleaning
mode 30 minutes after activating
the power supply or setting the
flush time.
You can also activate cleaning
mode with Geberit Clean Handy.
Activate cleaning mode.

Hold a white sheet of paper in front of
the IR sensor on the bottom edge of
the urinal ceramic for at least
2 seconds.

Remove the white sheet of paper
after 2 short signal tones.
Result
The flush actuation is suppressed for
10 minutes. During this time, you will
hear a short signal tone every
4 seconds.

Clean the urinal or replace the trap.

Once 10 minutes have elapsed, a
flush is actuated.
Clean or replace the spray
head
Clean the cover and nozzle of the spray
head with a mild, liquid cleaning agent at
least once a year. Descale the nozzle with a
commercially available descaling agent if
necessary. Replace the nozzle if it can no
longer be completely cleaned and descaled.
Clean or replace the spray head.

Remove the urinal flush control to
disconnect the water supply.

Remove the cover and nozzle.

Clean the nozzle and rinse with water,
or replace the nozzle
(art. no. 243.333.00.1).

Install the nozzle and cover.

Install the urinal flush control.
Result
The urinal is once more ready for
operation.
