How to set the backfat reference Line on SmartScan ?
It is know that different sows have different backfat thickness in different breeding stages. By
setting the target value in advance on SmartScan before we check backfat with this wireless
ultrasound, we can intuitively know whether the backfat of the pig under inspection is up to the
standard during ultrasonic inspection.
SmartScan presets two different working modes: one for pregnancy Test and another is for
backfat. Normally, the Pregnancy Test is performed when the machine is switched on. The
scanning depth is at 160mm and PT (Pregnancy Test) character is displayed in the upper right
corner of the screen. To press [PT/BF] key when the machine is in real-time, to change the
system to "backfat mode". The scanning depth is at 90mm when it is in Backfat Mode, and the
characters in the upper right corner are replaced by BF (Back fat).
