NOTE
The operating voltage must be identical to the output voltage of the control
system.
During first operation, we recommend to actuate the Air-blast and
injection unit approx. 10-20 times until the desired quantity of anti-spatter
agent has reached the gas nozzle. The injection oiler can be actuated
manually by pressing the signal generator.
The Air-blast and injection unit is activated when the 2/2 directional
valve is actuated. Always start this process when the robot moves the torch neck
to the cleaning station for automatic cleaning.
The air-blast signal is set on the way to the cleaning station and is active during
the entire cleaning process.
The welding spatter released by the miller is then blown out the interior of the
gas nozzle from behind.
A second air-blast impulse after cleaning moistens the interior of the gas nozzle
with anti-spatter agent before the torch returns to the welding process.
NOTE
• As the Air-blast and injection unit is integrated into a welding
system, putting out of operation depends on the robot control system.
Please make sure that the shutdown procedures for all components
mounted in the welding system are strictly observed before putting out of
operation begins.
1 Switch off the robot control.
Scheduled maintenance and cleaning is a prerequisite for a long life and a
trouble-free operation.
The Air-blast and injection unit does not require maintenance but we
recommend regular cleaning. Please check if there are any leaks.
