TENSIONING A CONVEYOR BELT
In order to achieve the proper tension on the feeding
belt, you must use two tensioners, and proceed
as follows:
1.
Loosen the nuts (E) from the bolts that fix the
bearings on both sides of the conveyor belt.
(Four bolts on each bearing housing).
2.
Loosen the counter nuts (F) and (G) from the
two tensioners.
3.
Tighten the nuts (H) from the two tensioners in
order to stretch the belt.
NOTE:
You must tension both sides evenly, applying
the same tension on both tensioners. Uneven
tensioning will misalign the belt, and might damage
it.
