A
CAUTION!
Do not attempt to install the tire
on the wheel, unless you have
the necessary equipment and
expertise for such. Inadequate
procedures when you install a
tire on a wheel or rim might cause
an explosion, which might result
in serious injuries or even death.

TRANSMISSION CHAIN (A) LUBRICATION

The adequate lubrication will prolong useful life,
avoid oxidation and the premature wear of chains.
Apply a thin layer of special chain oil, such as
MAXLUB ND-03 Bardahl.
If possible, use a special chain lubricant (spray
grease), since it provides a more efficient lubrication
between the chain pins and rollers.
OBS.: Do not use common grease on the chain,
since it will not penetrate the links and pins.
Lubrication period: Lubrication is recommended
every 40 hours' work, or at the end of the day, while
chains are still heated.
Whenever it is necessary, wash them with kerosene
or diesel fuel, using a brush.
TIRES MAINTENANCE
ƒ Check tires daily and keep them properly
calibrated, since this procedure is of extreme
importance for a good performance of the
machine. Recommended calibration: 40 bar
(2.76 psi).
ƒ When you calibrate tires, always stand beside
them, never in front or above them. You should
also observe fixing nuts torques of the wheels.
ƒ Inadequate procedures when you install a tire on
a wheel or rim might cause an explosion, which
might result in serious injuries or even death.
ƒ Ask an authorized dealer or an Auto-service
station for any necessary maintenance on your
tires.
ƒ When you replace worn tires, make sure they are
in accordance with standards and specifications
as the original tire.
