Adjusting the top cover thread spreader

注意 CAUTION
上飾りの調節を行う時は、必ずミシンの電源スイッチを切り、
電源プラグをコンセントから抜いて、 専門技術者が行ってください。
Always turn off the power, unplug the machine and then
authorized technicians are allowed to adjust the top cover thread
spreader.
1. スプレッダーの調節
(1) 高さと前後位置の調節
針糸上面からスプレッダー
基準表を参照して、ご使用のミシンに合った寸法に調節してく
ださい。
調節後、ネジ を仮締めしてください。

前後位置は、スプレッダー
レッダー 1 の剣先 B が左針の前にきたとき、左針との隙間が
0.5mm になるように、スプレッダー
てください。調節後、ネジ
(2) 左右位置の調節
スプレッダー 1 が、最左位置のとき、左針中心からスプレッ
ダー 1 の剣先 B までの寸法が 5.0mm になるように、ネジ
緩めて、スプレッダー 1
調節後、ネジ 3 を締め付けてください。

(1)To adjust the top cover thread spreader height :

Adjust distance from the top surface of the needle plate to the
bottom surface of the top cover thread spreader
distance according to the machine being used by referring to
the table of adjustment dimensions (see page 44). Adjustment
is made by loosening screw

spreader up or down. After the above adjustment is made,

tighten screw temporarily.
To adjust the top cover thread spreader front to back :

When point on the top cover thread spreader has comes
close to the left needle while the top cover thread spreader
moving to the left from the extreme right end of its travel, there
should be a distance of 0.5 mm from point
Adjustment is made by moving the top cover thread spreader
front to back.
After this adjustment is made, tighten screw
(2)Left-to-right adjustment
When the top cover thread spreader
end of its travel, there should be a distance of 5.0 mm from
the center line of the left needle to point
thread spreader. Adjustment is made by loosening screw
moving the top cover thread spreader
After this adjustment is made, tighten screw
