The cable power needed for a BT356 card
rack depends on the number and sizes of the
tightening channels to be operated. As,
however, a card rack must always be
considered as fully equipped, we
recommend configuring the connected load
for a fully equipped BT356. Set the power
switches preceding the BT356 in
compliance with the nominal connected load.
Example
3-phase connection of one BT356 with an
overall connected network load of 2500 VA:

Select the mains transformers using the
information in Tables 3 and 4. The uk value
must be below 3%.
We recommend the use of one-coil
transformers, insofar as this is not excluded
by other regulations.

Connection of several BT356s to the
mains supply
Several BT356s can be used in a single
tightening system. If this is the case, the
individual connected loads must be totaled
and the required mains transformers selected
accordingly.
