following table for the maximum achievable data transfer rates.

This table provides only maximum data transfer rates. Additional factors can
affect actual data transfer rates. For example, the average data transfer speed is
affected by the number of hard disk drives on the device chain, the number of
hard disk drives that are currently being accessed, and whether the drives are
accessing small random or large continuous data files.
