• After charging, unplug the charger from the mains then remove the clamp from the frame and the
battery. Imperatively respect the indicated order.
• The charger must be placed in such a way that the plug is always accessible.
• The charger must not be used as toy by young children, or used by young children or disabled
persons without any supervision.
• This product is to be recycled by selective collection. Do not throw in domestic garbage.
Do not short-circuit the clamps during charging.
• Before use it is recommended to pre-charge the machine for a few minutes. Check that the
battery is securely connected to the + and - terminals and is in good condition. NEVER attempt to
charge a battery with the unit in START mode!
• If the vehicle does not start, wait at least 3 minutes and re-attempt.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Anomalies
The green light does not
switch on when charging
the battery.
Machine ammeter does
not oscillate.
The ammeter indicates
more than 20A while the
switch is set on
minimum.
The machine trips

Thermal protection has been
activated
Overload protection has been
activated - circuit breaker tripped
Problem of input from the main

The battery to charge is faulty.

Remèdes
Allow the machine to cool
(approximately 15 minutes)
Re-set circuit breaker
Check the input
Check the machine is on the
'charge' position
Check if the fuses are not melted.
Check with a voltmeter the voltage
on the terminals. If the voltage
rises instantly at more than 2.5V
per element, the battery may be
damaged or sulphated.
Check the red cable is linked to the
+ terminal of your Neostart (12 or
24V)
Keep the charge while keeping the
adjustments to the minimum.

Change the battery
Imperatively place the selector on
the "start" position whereas it could
highly damage your machine.
Rearm the circuit breaker.
Connect the red cable on the +12 V
output of the Neostart.
