BATIUM 25/24
CAUSES
The Batium has detected a polarity
reversal to the clamps.
The battery has suffered a deep
discharge over a long period.
The charger has detected an abnormal
mains power supply voltage.
The machine is overheating.
Deeply discharged battery (voltage
below 2 V).
The Batium does not detect the bat-
tery. The clamps are not connected
properly.
The Batium detects a voltage error and
suggests another selection (voltage
indicator lashes).
The battery is in short-circuit or
damaged.
A power consumer has been left on
accidentaly during the charge. (e.g :
lights).
The charger is used as a power supply
to compensate for the use of power
consumers that are dragging the batte-
ry's energy.
The charging speed is not adapted to
the battery.
CHE = check
The voltage is still too low to start a
normal charge.
is on.
The charger will attempt to recover the
battery for 30 minutes max, then will
resume a normal charge.
If the battery cannot be recovered, the
Barium will stop the charge and display
« OUT ».
SOLUTIONS
Connect the red clamp to the positive
terminal (+) and the black clamp
to the negative terminal (-) of the
battery.
Activate the « SOS Recovery » mode, (see
p7)
Wait 10 seconds. If nothing is dis-
played, try another power socket.
Use the charger in a well ventilated
area.
Start a forced charge, « see forced
charged section ».
Make sure that the clamps are properly
connected. Carry out the connection
again.
Select the proper voltage at least 10
seconds after the irst press.
If the voltage is not rectiied within a
minute, the Batium starts the charge
automatically using the suggested
voltage (lashing indicator).
Change the battery.
Switch off the power consumer and
continue/restart the charge.
Charger behaves normally but incor-
rect use. The indicator that signals the
end of the charge cannot switch on.
Select a higher charging speed .If
you're already set at 25 A, use a more
powerful charger.
Check all electrical consumers are
switched off on the vehicle (e.g.
lights, interior light).
Check that the selected voltage
matches the battery voltage. If that's
not the case, disconnect the charger's
clamps and reconigure the charger.
The battery voltage is abnormally low,
the battery is damaged or in short-
circuit.
