• Use the lowest setting especially when cooking
with little water and little fat.
• Pans and lids without plastic parts are also
suitable for the oven. Please use oven gloves as
the handles can get hot in the oven.
Safety and care instructions
• Before first use wash the frying pan thoroughly
in hot water and dry well.
• Oil the non-stick coating lightly with cooking oil
or cooking fat.
• The best cooking results are achieved at medium
or low temperatures.
• Caution: Overheating can damage the non-stick
coating. Never leave the frying pan unattended
on the cooker; in the case of severe overheating
and smoke in the kitchen, air thoroughly. Any
slight discoloration of the surface on the inside
of the base that may occur does not affect the
quality of the product.
• Never heat up the frying pan for a long time
when empty and ensure that the liquid in the
food does not completely evaporate. If this is
ignored it may damage the pan, or the hob.
• Even if after due care has been taken food has
burnt badly, remove the black burnt food
8
immediately to protect the non-stick effect.
• Clean the frying pan as soon as possible after use.
As a measure of gentle care we recommend
wiping the frying pan with kitchen paper or
washing by hand in hot water and washing up
liquid. Modern compressed detergent could affect
the non-stick coating in the dishwasher and
cause damage. WMF recommends washing by
hand.
• Soak residue food and carefully remove with a
sponge or brush. (We recommend Scotch Brite
cleaning sponge "Kratzt nicht 3M").
• Please do not use steel wool or cleaning fluid
containing sand.
• After cleaning oil the surface with cooking oil or
fat once more.
• Besides wooden or plastic kitchen utensils, a
metal turner can be used if care is taken. Any
traces of cuts or scratches that occur have no
effect on the non-stick qualities of the surface.
They are only of an optical nature and cannot be
claimed under the guarantee.
• If the handle of your pan becomes loose, tighten
the screw on the handle using a commercially
available screwdriver. Discontinue use of the pan
until this has been done.
