INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
HOW TO ADJUST THE SHOULDER STRAPS
(Version 156 & 157)
26. It is necessary to adjust the shoulder
straps, in relation to the size of the child.
Note: the shoulder straps should be
positioned on the shoulder, or just above
(see fig. 26). Note: to facilitate the next step
it is necessary to fully recline the backrest
(fig. 25). Note: if your car seat comes
complete with head hugger ,(optional extra)
it will be necessary to remove it prior to
changing the position of the shoulder straps
from one height to another. For more details
regarding the head hugger, see the relevant
illustrations and point 42.
27. Start by pushing the harness adjuster,
and releasing the straps as much as
possible.
28. Situated at either side of the car seat shell
you will find 2 handles (one on either side), pull
as indicated. Pull on one strap, and then raise
or lower via the slots to the desired height.
Follow by repeating on the second strap.
29. Pay particular attention to the correct
alignment of the shoulder straps, making sure
that they do NOT become fitted as illustrations
29A & 29B. Note: the harness is composed of
a harness strap and shoulder strap, take care
when adjusting to reposition both.
HOW TO POSITION THE CHILD WITH IN
THE CAR SEAT (version 156 & 157)
30. Start by opening the buckle as illustrated.
31. Open out the harness (fig. 31A), and
place the child in to the car seat (Fig 31B).
32. Connect the buckle together until a
CLICK is heard.
33. Ensure that all five straps of the harness
are correctly positioned on the child, pull
hard on the harness adjuster strap to tighten
(Fig.33A). Note: The harness must be well
fitted around the child, and flush to the body.
If the child is wearing layers of clothing that
create extra volume, it is advisable to remove
some clothing before fitting the harness, as
a safety measure.
HOW TO REMOVE THE FABRIC UPHOLSTERY
FROM THE CAR SEAT (Version 156 & 157)
34. To remove the fabric upholstery it is

necessary to firstly completely recline
the seat (Fig.25). Release the tension of the
harness, by means of the harness adjuster
(Fig.27), Take hold of the metal connector at
the rear of the car seat and slide the harness
straps off (Fig.34).
35. Completely remove the harness straps
and open the buckle.
36. Remove the chest pads as shown in
the figure.
37. Remove the fabric from the plastic
shell as illustrated.
38. Pass the buckle through the slots
within the fabric.
39. Pass both parts of the buckle and
straps through the fabric.
40. Completely remove the fabric upholstery
from the car seat. Note: the fabric upholstery
can be washed in warm water, at a maximum
temperature of 30°, with a mild neutral
detergent. DO NOT tumble dry. DO NOT iron.
Do NOT use bleach or solvents!!
41. To re-fit the fabric upholstery follow the
instructions above, in reverse order.
WARNING: when re-fitting the harness
straps, take particular care to verify that
they are not twisted in any way (fig. 41B).
42. A HEAD HUGGER IS OPTIONAL IN SOME
PRODUCTS, BUT NOT SOLD SEPARATELY
(version 156 & 157) It may be possible that your
car seat comes complete with a head hugger
(optional extra), and is to be used as shown in
the illustrations, however only when the
shoulder straps are in the 1st position, and only
when the size of the child dictates use.
