The defects or damage to the displaying unit does not result from abuse, incorrect use,
negligence, improper storage, inadequate maintenance or use of unauthorized
accessories, spare parts, consumables, or supplies;
In no event shall ambu be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages
of any kind (including without limitation loss of profits or loss of use), whether or not ambu
shall be or should be aware of the possibility of such potential loss or damage.
The warranty applies only to the original customer of Ambu and cannot be assigned or
otherwise transferred.
In order to avail itself of this limited warranty, if requested by Ambu, the customer must return
the displaying unit to Ambu (at its own expense and risk of shipment). In compliance with
applicable regulations any displaying unit that has come into contact with potentially
infectious material must be decontaminated before being returned to Ambu under this limited
warranty (pursuant to the cleaning and disinfection procedures in Section 5 above). Ambu is
entitled to reject a displaying unit which has not been duly decontaminated.
Appendix. Electromagnetic Compatibility and
Radio Frequency Compliance
Like other electrical medical equipment, the system requires special precautions to ensure
electromagnetic compatibility with other electrical medical devices. To ensure electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC) the system must be installed and operated according to the EMC
information provided in the Reference Manual.
To ensure Radio Frequency (RF) compliance the system must be installed and operated
according to the RF information provided in the Reference Manual.
The Reference Manual can be downloaded on www.ambu.com.
The system has been designed and tested to comply with IEC 60601-1-2 requirements for EMC
with other devices. Please observe the following:
Notes: The emissions Characteristics of this equipment makes it suitable for use in industrial areas and
hospitals (CISPR 11 class A). If it is used in a residential environment (for which CISPR 11 class B is normally
required) this equipment might not offer adequate protection to the radio-frequency communication service.
The user might need to take mitigation measures, such as relocating or re-orienting the equipment.
The system contains the following radio transmitters compliant with the requirements of
Directive 2014/53/EU and FCC part 15:
Wi-Fi - IEEE802.11ac/a/b/g/n
Hereby, Ambu declares that the radio equipment type aView 2 Advance is in compliance
with Directive 2014/53/EU.
