inactivity.
WINDSCREEN (Fig.2): indispensable in winter, you can apply
and remove it easily.
ALARM (Fig. 1): electronic device fitted with an efficient acoustic
alarm.

MALAGUTI Spa declines any responsibility for damages to
the vehicle and/or injuries to its user due to the installation of
non-original accessories. In the same way, MALAGUTI Spa
also declines responsibility for damages to the vehicle and/
or injuries to its user for the wrong installation of even original
spare parts, as the sole responsible will be the person who
carried out the installation.
In case you intend to install electric or electronic accessories
on the vehicle, make sure that they do not interfere with the
vehicle operation. If in doubt, refer to MALAGUTI Vendors/
Dealers to obtain the necessary information.
If you wish to fit a non-approved part to the vehicle, contact A
MALAGUTI Spa dealer before doing so to find out if said
accessory is compatible with your vehicle.

1.1 RIDING SAFETY

• Always wear your helmet (approved type) correctly fastened
and suitable clothes, avoiding any dangling things,
unbuttoned jackets etc.
• WARNING: Ask the passenger to wear an approved helmet and
avoid carrying children or people unable to sit independently on
the saddle.
• Always keep your visor and goggles well cleaned.
• Correctly adjust the rear-view mirrors.
• Always ride being seated with both your hands on the handlebar
and your feet on the footboard.
• Keep at a safety distance from other vehicles when driving in a line.
• On dry roads without gravel and sand, use both brakes: using
only one brake may cause dangerous and uncontrollable
skidding.
• On wet roads ride with caution and at a limited speed: "smoothly"
operate the brakes, mainly use the engine braking action.
• Do not use mobile phones while driving or refuelling.
• Do not allow your passenger to use mobile phones during the
journey and ask him to always hold the grab rail (no. 28 fig. 8
page 10).
• Good psychophysical conditions are very important for a safety
riding. Drugs, spirits, psychotropic drugs, as well as physical
fatiguing states and sleepiness may result in very dangerous
situations for you and for other people!
• Changing direction, line, turns in lateral roads and pulling in the
vehicle for stopping, have always to be indicated through the
indicator lights.
• When approaching stops, red lights, level crossings, road
bumps, artificial dunes, etc. slow down with moderation. Safety
is important for you but also for other people.
• Always ride with the low beam on, even in the dayligtht.
