7. After resetting the DIP switches on all AC printed circuit boards,
close and lock the control cabinet door.
Grid characteristics have been changed.

Measurements

| Use the safety devices and follow the safety instructions on the
device.
| Pay attention to the safety regulations for measurements on
current-carrying system and device parts and exercise strict
compliance with the standards for measurements of the solar
generator rotary field (DC) and the grid voltage (AC).
| Carry out the measurements using only measuring devices
intended for the purpose.

Carrying out the measurements

Risk of fatal injury due to residual voltages!
Residual voltage inside the device leads to lethal surges of current.
Condensers may also be charged after the device is switched off.
| Observe a waiting period of at least 8 minutes.
| After this waiting period, residual voltages may still be present. A
suitable measuring instrument should be used to verify that the
device is deenergised, in accordance with applicable guidelines.
The On/Off switch is not a disconnector!
When Conergy IPG series central inverters are disconnected via
the On/Off switch, voltage is still present at the AC and DC
connections. N.B.: The On/Off switch is not a DC disconnector.
| For complete disconnection, all external and internal
disconnectors must be opened before undertaking work inside
the device.
1. Open external disconnecting devices for the solar generator, the
grid connection and the auxiliary power supply and secure them
against being switched on again.
2. Open the front door.
3. Open all internal disconnectors (AC disconnectors, DC power
circuit breakers and NH disconnectors for overvoltage
protection).
4. Unscrew the screw connection of the Plexiglas cover.
5. Remove the Plexiglas cover
(only for Conergy IPG 80K–300K).
6. Connect measuring equipment and cover adjacent, live
components.
