4. Resetting the blades
Before leaving our factory, the
blades of your new hand mower
were set optimally. If the cut
becomes uneven after long use,
correct the bottom blade setting.
5. Test cut using newspaper
After you have reset the cutters,
make a test cut using newspaper.
6. Cleaning, storage and maintenance
After use, clean the mower and oil
lightly. Grease the cutters. The
symbols in Figure E indicate which
parts of the hand lawn mower can
be lightly oiled
or greased
Store the mower in a dry place.
Regrinding the cutters,which is not
required until after years of use if
the mower is looked after properly,
may only be carried out by on
authorised dealer because of the
grinding method required to do
this work correctly.
7. Mowing with the grass catcher
Using the grass catcher (Art. No.
65041) saves you having to rake
the grass cuttings together after
mowing. The grass catcher can
be supplied by your dealer.
Warranty
The manufacturer warrants its prod-
ucts for exclusively non-commercial
use for a period of 24 months from
the date of original purchase.
This warranty does not affect statu-
tory warranty claims. The warranty
covers all substantial faults of the
product, which are caused by
defects in material and workman-
ship. If a product exhibits such a
defect we will, at our option, repair
or replace it without cost for parts
