12.3 What to do if ...
All appliances are carefully tested for performance and
safety at the AHT test centre.
Contact the maintenance service promptly (see
→Maintenance services) in the event of:
– a malfunction (see →Malfunctions during opera-
tion)
– loud noises or vibration
– failure of the control and display elements

Disposal
WARNING
Leakage or residue of flammable refri-
gerant.
Flammable refrigerant can cause an explosive
gas/air mixture. Fire hazard.
▪ Do not damage pipes.
▪ Prior to dismantling and disposal, open the
refrigerant circuit properly and suck off the
refrigerant safely and completely. No
residues may remain in the refrigerant cir-
cuit.
▪ Only qualified staff may suck off the refri-
gerant.
CAUTION
Improper disposal.
Environmental damage.
▪ Dispose of components in a professional
and environmentally friendly manner, e.g:
- Refrigerant
- Insulating foam (pentane)
- Compressor oil
- Film and packaging
- Glass
▪ Separate collection of electrical and elec-
tronic equipment according to the valid na-
tional disposal regulations (e.g. WEEE
within the EU) and the regulations of the
local disposal partner.
▪ Do not dispose of the appliance with
household waste.
