Game preparation
Have the following figures at hand: duck, cat, horse, mouse, snake, bee, car, train engine.
The rest of the material will not be needed and remains in the game box. Each child chooses
a figure.
The children stand next to each other, so they can clearly see the game guide.
When there are less than 8 children, the game guide keeps the other figures, hold them up
during the pertinent verse. The children echo the sound together.
Let's play!
Verse by verse, recite the text. The children echo each verse until they can recite it along with
you. Each verse is about a different figure, so the text is slightly different for each figure and
the appropriate sound is included. The child with the matching figure, plays the role, making
the matching sound when his figure's verse comes.
