Dismantle the pre-nozzle, paint needle and paint needle tappet
■ Actuate the trigger guard [1-7] to remove prestressing between the
hard metal ball of the paint needle [7-5] and the pre-nozzle [7-4].
■ Unscrew the pre-nozzle [7-4] using the SATA universal spanner.
■ Bring the trigger guard [1-7] to the starting position.
■ Unscrew the end screw (spanner size 6) [7-9].
■ Remove both springs [7-7] and [7-8].
■ Pull the paint needle tappet [7-6] right back as far as it will go.

■ Take the paint needle tappet [7-6] backwards out of the gun body [1-4].
■ Take the paint needle forwards out of the gun body.
Mount the pre-nozzle, paint needle and paint needle tappet
Damage from incorrect installation sequence
The components can be damaged if fitted in the wrong order.
→ Heed correct installation sequence.
■ Insert the paint needle [7-5] in the gun body [1-4] carefully from the
front and push right to the back.
■ Push the paint needle tappet [7-6] carefully into the gun body from be-
hind and push onto the paint needle
[2-2] engages on the paint needle.
■ With the engaged paint needle, push the paint needle tappet forwards
as far as it will go into the groove of the packing bolt.
■ Screw in the new pre-nozzle [7-4] using the SATA universal spanner.
■ Insert the spring [7-7] in the paint needle.
■ Position the spring [7-8] on the end screw [7-9].
■ Screw the end screw in as far as it will go.
Mount the material nozzle
■ Insert the material nozzle [7-3] in the air cap [7-2]. Pay attention to the
groove alignment with the fixing pin.
■ Position the air cap ring with contact protection [7-1] together with the
air cap and material nozzle, then screw on by hand.
10.2. Replace trigger guard
Remove trigger guard
■ Unscrew the fastening screw (TX 20) [8-1] and remove with the wash-
