■ Pull the bolt [8-4] out of the gun body and trigger guard [8-3].
■ Remove the trigger guard [8-3].
Mount new trigger guard
■ Position the trigger guard [8-3] on the gun body.
■ Push the bolt [8-4] into the trigger guard and gun body in the correct
position. The flat side of the bolt must point downwards.
■ Push the washer [8-2] onto the bolt.
■ Tighten the fastening screw [8-1] on the bolt.
10.3. Replace the paint needle seal
This must be replaced when material leaks from the self-adjusting paint
needle seal.
Remove packing screw
■ Carry out the steps to dismantle the material nozzle „Dismantle the
pre-nozzle, paint needle and paint needle tappet" (see chapter 10.1).
■ Unscrew the sealing screw (spanner size 6) [9-1].
■ Remove both seals [9-2] from the gun body.
■ Dispose of the seals.
■ Check sealing screw for damage and soiling, clean or replace if neces-
sary.
Mount the new sealing screw
■ Insert new seals [9-2] in the gun body, heeding the installation direction.
■ Tighten the sealing screw [9-1] to the maximum
■ Proceed with the steps to "Mount pre-nozzle, paint needle and paint
needle tappet" and "Mount material nozzle" (see chapter 10.1).
10.4. Replacing spindles of round/flat fan control
Note!
The thread of the spindle is coated with Loctite 242 during installation.
Greater use of force is therefore necessary when dismantling.
Dismantle spindle
■ Unscrew the countersunk screw (TX 20) [10-1].
■ Remove the control knob [10-2].
■ Unscrew the spindle using a ring spanner (spanner size 12) [10-3].
Mount new spindle
■ Secure the new spindle [10-3] with Loctite 242, screw into the gun body
