■ Position the control knob [10-2].
■ Secure the countersunk screw [10-1] with Loctite 242 and screw hand-
tight.
10.5. Replace the material strainer (short)
Risk of injuries from components coming loose or leaking
material.
Operation of the spray gun with material filter housing without a material
sieve will lead to loss of the sealing function.
→ Only use the spray gun when the material sieve is inserted.
Dismantle material strainer (short)
■ Unscrew the union nut [11-2] using the SATA universal spanner. Hold
with an open-end spanner at threaded part [11-4].
■ Remove the material strainer [11-1] from the material filter housing
[11-3].
■ Clean the material filter housing.
Fit new material strainer (short)
■ Insert a new material strainer [11-1] in the material filter housing [11-3].
■ Screw on the material filter housing using the union nut [11-2] and
screw handtight with the SATA universal spanner.
10.6. Replace material strainer (long)
Risk of injuries from components coming loose or leaking
material.
Operation of the spray gun with material filter housing without a material
sieve will lead to loss of the sealing function.
→ Only use the spray gun when the material sieve is inserted.
Dismantle material strainer (long)
■ Unscrew the union nut [12-3] using the SATA universal spanner. Hold
with an open-end spanner at threaded part [12-5].
