Spoiler Decal Installation
1.
Detach and separate one side of the decal from the release liner and gently
fold to the center tape "hinge".
2.
Use scissors to trim the release liner at the hinge. Remove and discard the
liner.
3.
Spray the surfactant onto the decal adhesive.
4.
Fold this portion of the decal back into position and use a squeegee to press
this portion into place.
5.
Remove Tape hinge and repeat Installation on opposite side of spoiler
(Scissors are not needed for installation of remaining decal).
6.
As the front edges of the decal extend beyond the edge of the panel, great
care should be taken during premask removal.
7.
Use a towel to carefully dry any surfactant that may remain along the edge
of spoiler and underneath the portion of the decal that extends beyond the
panel edge.
8.
Spray the wrapping solution onto the adhesive side of the decal.
9.
Use the heat gun to apply (for 3-5 seconds) direct heat along the length of
the decal.
10. Use a towel to press the decal around the panel edge while applying
additional heat as necessary.
11. Use the squeegee to press the decal between the spoiler and the decklid
into place.
12. Apply additional heat (as necessary) and press into place until the decal is
properly adhered.
