Filling the lubrication unit and level monitoring

The lubrication unit LU 2/P-24V-3L is equipped with an optical level monitoring
device. If the fi ll level of the oil container is suffi cient, a green LED is lit. If the
minimum fi ll level (MIN LEVEL) is undercut, this LED goes out and the alarm
01 Low level (minimum fi ll level) is activated.

9.1.2

Venting the lubrication system

1. Turn on the power to the lubrication unit.
2. Press the manual cycle button (Fig. 14, position O) several times until oil emerges
at all lubrication pins.
3. Check all lubrication lines/fi ttings for tightness.
