SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The Maruyama warning system in this manual
identifies potential hazards and has special safety
messages that help you and others avoid personal
injury, even death.

Operator Safety
1. Read and understand this Operator's Manual
before using this product. Be thoroughly familiar
with the proper use of this product.
2. Never allow children to operate the Water Pump.

unit without first reading the Operator's Manual.

Water Pump safety
1. Inspect the Water Pump before each use.
Replace damaged parts. Check for fuel leaks.
Make sure all fasteners are in place and tightened
securely.
2. Never use replacement parts that are not
approved by Maruyama U.S., Inc.
3. Maintain the Water Pump in accordance with the
recommended maintenance intervals and
procedures in the maintenance section, pages 35
to 40.
4. Never use a machine that has been modified so
that it no longer corresponds with the original
design.
5. The Exhaust gases are extremely hot. Keep
flammable materials and objects away from the
direction that the exhaust gases are coming out
of the muffler. Do not cover the exhaust gases
with any items. There is a high risk of materials
and objects catching fire and getting burned.
