MAINTENANCE / MANTENIMIENTO
Maintenance, replacement or repair of emission
control devices and systems may be performed by
any repair establishment or individual; however,
warranty repairs must be performed by a dealer or
s e r v i c e c e n t e r a u t h o r i z e d b y M a r u y a m a
Manufacturing Company, Inc. The use of parts that
are not equivalent in performance and durability to
authorized parts may impair the effectiveness of
the emission control system and may have a
bearing on the outcome of a warranty claim.
Pump
1. After the pump has been used with muddy water,
be sure to run it with clean water for a few
minutes to clean the interior of the pump before
stopping operation.
2. Where outside temperatures drop to freezing or
below, be sure to drain all water from the pump
before storage.
3. When the unit is not to be used for a long period
of time, clean the pump interior thoroughly,
remove all remaining moisture, and then store it
covered in a dry, cool, dark place.

Air Filter

Maintenance Interval
• The air filter should be cleaned daily or more
often when working in extremely dusty conditions.
• Replace after every 100 hours of operation.

Bomba
1. Después de haber utilizado la bomba con agua
fangosa, asegúrese de hacerla funcionar con
agua limpia durante unos minutos para limpiar el
interior antes de detener el funcionamiento.
2. Cuando las temperaturas externas caigan a cero
grados o por debajo de este valor, asegúrese de
achicar toda el agua de la bomba antes de
guardarla.
3. Cuando no vaya a utilizar la unidad durante un
largo período, limpie el interior cuidadosamente,
retire toda la humedad restante y, a continuación
cúbrala y guárdela en un lugar seco, frío y
oscuro.

Air Filter Cleaning
1. Loosen the knob and remove the air filter cover.
2. Remove the foam element and filter screen from
the air filter body.
3. Clean the foam element and filter screen with
warm, soapy water. Let the screen and element
dry completely.
4. Apply a light coat of motor oil (SAE 30 or
equivalent viscosity) to the foam element and
squeeze out all excess oil.
5. Reassemble the filter screen and foam element
to the air filter body.
6. Reinstall the air filter cover and tighten the knob.

Intervalo de mantenimiento
• El filtro de aire debería limpiarse diariamente o
con más frecuencia, si se trabaja en condiciones
de mucho polvo.
• Cámbielo tras 100 horas de funcionamiento.
Limpieza del filtro de aire
1. Suelte el pomo y quite la tapa del filtro de aire.
2. Quite el elemento de material espumoso y la
pantalla con filtro.
3. Limpie el elemento de material espumoso y la
pantalla con filtro con agua templada
l i g e r a m e n t e e n j a b o n a d a . D e j e l o s e c a r
completamente.
4. Aplique una ligera capa de aceite de motor (SAE
30 o equivalente viscosidad ) al elemento
espumoso y quite el exceso de aceite haciendo
presión sobre el mismo.
5. Vuelva a montar el elemento espumoso y la
pantalla con filtro.
6. Vuelva a instalar la tapa del filtro de aire y
apriete el pomo.
