BEFORE OPERATION / PRIMEROS PASOS
PUMP SECTION
1. Check that there are no loose screws or
components on the machinery.
2. Place the pump on a level surface, but not
immediately next to the water supply.
If the pump must be placed on a sloping or
inclined surface, a level platform must be used.
Be sure to secure the pump adequately.
3. Where the weight of the suction hose causes the
pump to tilt or move, secure the pump adequately.
4. Always attach the strainer to the end of the
suction hose. If the pump is operated without the
strainer, pebbles and other materials will be
sucked into the pump and could cause damage
and pump failure.
5. Be sure that the strainer is completely
submerged, but not in contact with sandy or
muddy bottom surfaces.
6. Secure the suction and discharge hoses tightly to
the pump to avoid sucking air.
SECCIÓN DE LA BOMBA
1. Compruebe que no haya tornillos o componentes
sueltos en la maquinaria.
2. Coloque la bomba a nivel de la superficie, pero
no justo al lado del suministro de agua. Si la
bomba debe colocarse en una superficie
inclinada o pendiente, ha de utilizarse una
plataforma para nivelarla. Asegúrese de sujetar
la bomba adecuadamente.
3. En caso de que el peso de la manguera de
aspiración la mueva o desnivele, ancle la bomba
adecuadamente.
4. Conecte siempre el filtro al extremo del tubo de
aspiración. Si utiliza la bomba sin filtro, puede
aspirar guijarros y otros materiales que podrían
ocasionarle daños y averiarla.
5. Asegúrese de que el filtro esté completamente
sumergido, pero sin entrar en contacto con
superficies arenosas o fangosas del fondo.
6. Asegure firmemente a la bomba los tubos de
aspiración y descarga para evitar succionar aire.
ENGINE SECTION
Oil and Fuel
POTENTIAL HAZARD
• In certain conditions petrol is extremely
flammable and highly explosive.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
• A fire or explosion from petrol can burn you,
others and cause property damage.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
• Use a funnel and fill the fuel tank outdoors, in
an open area, when the engine is cold. Wipe
up any petrol that spills.
• Do not fill the fuel tank completely full. Add
petrol to the fuel tank until the level is 6 mm -
13 mm (1/4 -1/2 inch) below the bottom of the
filler neck.
This empty space in the tank allows petrol to
expand.
• Never smoke when handling petrol, and stay
away from an open flame with petrol in an
approved container and keep it out of the reach
of children.
• Do not mix fuel for more than one month use.

CÓMO EVITAR EL PELIGRO
• Con un embudo, llene el depósito al aire libre,
en una zona abierta, cuando el motor esté frío.
Limpie la gasolina derramada.
• No llene el depósito de combustible por
completo. Añada gasolina al depósito hasta que
el nivel esté 6 -13 mm por debajo del orificio de
llenado. Este espacio vacío del depósito permite
que la gasolina se expanda.
• Nunca fume cuando manipule gasolina, y
permanezca alejado de una llama abierta;
almacene la gasolina en un contenedor
homologado y manténgalo alejado de los niños.
• No mezcle combustible para un uso superior a
un mes.
