– The flue must be sized correctly for condensing
boilers. Inadequate or incorrectly sized flues can al-
ter the combustion parameters and generate noise.
– It is recommended that a condensate neutraliser be
installed before discharging it into the waste water
drain.
– Ensure that the duct and condensate outlet pipes
have an angle of at least 3% towards the neutraliser
or the drain.
– Mount an adequate filter to prevent dust or dirt from
being drawn in.

The Sime ESTELLE HE B4 INOX ErP boiler requires the connec-
tions shown below, which must be carried out by the installer or
by professionally qualified personnel.
To connect the electrics:
– remove the front panel (1) to access the control panel
– loosen the screws (2) that fasten the control unit cover (3).
– turn the cover (3) downwards to access the internal terminal
block (MIQ).
The cables must enter from the rear of the boiler and must then
be locked, once the job has been completed, with the tear-proof
cable clip already fitted. Once the connections have been made,
reassemble the previously dismantled elements.

Connections to be made by the installer
The electrical connections to be made include:
– power supply 230V - 50Hz with magnetothermic switch
– connection of the room thermostat (TA) or timer-controlled
thermostat, after having removed the jumper between termi-
nals 20 and 21
– if a time programmer is used, remove the bridge between
terminals 30 and 31 and connect the programmer timer-con-
trolled thermostat (CTP) to terminals 28, 29, 30 and 31.
– make the burner connections according to the wiring diagram
shown in this manual.
