CAUTION
If the boiler remains unplugged from the mains for
approximately 1 month or more (for example during a
holiday), upon the initial start-up the DOMESTIC HOT
WATER CIRCUIT MUST BE SANITISED .

6.12.3 EMPTYING operations

Prior to performing drainage operations, check that the sys-
tem's main switch is set to "OFF" and that the master switch of
the boiler is set to 0 ("off"):

6.12.3.1 Draining the system

– Check that the water system shut-off devices are closed
– connect a funnelling pipe to the system's drainage valve (1)
and open it.
– When it has fully emptied, close the system drain valve (1).

6.12.3.2 Draining the storage calorifier
– Close the domestic hot water circuit shut-off valve installed
in the system
– connect a rubber hose to the tank drain valve (C) and open it
When it has fully emptied, shut-off the tank drain valve (C).
