CAUSE

The cutting blade is loose.
◾
The cutting blade set is
unbalanced.
◾
The cutting blade is bent.
◾
The motor shaft is bent.
◾
The mower is set to cut too much
grass at once.
◾
The blade speed mode is not set
properly.
◾
The side rails are not fully
extended.
◾
The wheels are temporarily
locked.
◾
The wheels are temporarily
locked.
◾
The blade is not tightened to the
required torque.
◾
The safety button is depressed
for less than 1 second.
SOLUTION
◾
Tighten the outer nut.
◾
Balance the blade set following
the"SHARPENING THE BLADE".
◾
Replace the blade.
◾
Contact the service center.
◾
Raise the deck to a higher
cutting-height setting.
◾
Select the blade speed to a
lower setting.
◾
Fully extend the side rails, then
lock the clamp.
◾
Simply push ahead slightly or
raise the rear wheels and then
move the mower as desired.
◾
Turn off the self propel.
◾
Re-tighten the blade. The
recommended torque for the
blade bolt is 36-43 ft-lb
(49-59Nm).
◾
The LCD screen will turn on
after the safety button has been
depressed for 1 second.
