5. Ensure that the Rip Fence Lock Levers 56 at
the front and back of the Rip Fence 9 are still
in the unlocked position.
6. With the provided Hex Wrench 33, loosen
the Silver Rip Fence Index Pins 58 about 1/2
to 1 turn so that the Pins can slide freely.
7. Using the Rip Fence 9, move the front and
rear Silver Index Pins 58 to the right by ap-
proximately 1/8 inch.
8. Using the Rail Adjustment Knob 7, move the
Rails 10 so that the position indicator lines
up with "0" on the Rip Fence Top Silver Scale
78, and lock the Rails 10 in place using the
Rail Lock Lever 6.

9. Slide the Rip Fence 9 towards the Blade 32
until it touches the blade teeth at the front
and back of the Blade 32.
10. Hand tighten the front and back Silver Index
Pins 58 using the Hex Wrench 33. Rotate an
additional 1/8 turn to secure the pins. Verify
that the Rip Fence 9 is still in contact with
the front and back teeth of the Blade 32.
11. Latch the Rip Fence Lock Levers 56 onto
the Rails 10, and verify that the Rip Fence
9 is still in contact with the front and back
teeth of the Blade 32.
12. Continue to "Aligning the Rip Fence – Right
Black Index Pins."

NOTE: Before proceeding with alignment of the
Right Black Rip Fence Index Pins 59, the align-
ment of the Silver Index Pins 58 must be verified
and adjusted if necessary. (See "Aligning the Rip
Fence – Silver Index Pins" on page 34.)
13. Verify that the Rip Fence 9 and the Silver
Rip Fence Index Pins 58 are aligned correctly
according to "Aligning the Rip Fence – Silver
Index Pins" on page 34.
14. Unlock the Rip Fence Lock Levers 56 at the
front and back of the Rip Fence 9, and re-
move the Rip Fence 9 from the Rails 10. Lock
the Rail Lock Lever.
15. With the provided Hex Wrench 33, loosen
the Right Black Rip Fence Index Pins 57 on
the front and back Rails 10 about 1/2 to 1
turn so that the Pins can slide freely.
16. Using the Fence Alignment Holes 82 in the
Blade Wrench 27, place the Blade Wrench 27
over the Silver Rip Fence Index Pin 57 on the
front Rail 10.
17. If out of alignment, move the front Right
Black Rip Fence Index Pin 57 until the hole in
the Blade Wrench 27 fits over the Pin's head.
